LAST BUT NOT LEAST

Chinese New Year is here again!! The day we get to celebrate our chinese-ness…. Lol! This is an OCBC talking here (Org Cina Bukan Cina)…. So I get to act all Chinese & do traditional Chinese stuff…. Not that I don’t everyday….. but I get to eat Chinese Treats….. grow fat & apparently that’s prosperous! LOL!! Whatever! I get to eat & cubit the cute lil pipi’s of my cousin’s childrens…. Children, Beware!!! Aunty Debbie is coming your way!!! LOL!!

One of the best few days of the year…. coz we get to see all the MANY MANY & DISTANT relatives that we had that we didn’t know existed… lol! Apakan….. macam long long lost cousins…. =P

It’s gona be soooooo much fun! not the collecting ang paos part… $_$ coz we’re kinda older now, so collecting ang paos also we feel kinda malu…. except when the ang paos come from our parents!! =)

I get to see my family as well & pig out with them… especially this special Pig Lunar Year….. PIG OUT is indeed the RIGHT word!

So *oink oink* All the way, to Malacca, Kuala Lumpur & Singapore!

P.S. Yesterday was the first airing of the LAST episode of the EVER famous Phua Chu Kang Pte Ltd. (If u don’t know the show, u don’t know anything Chinese….. =p) the ever famous YELLOW boots is going for good…. We’ll miss him & his "Don’t pray pray!" I’m so glad I was in singapore to watch the final 1&1/2 hr appearance of the crew, the beginning of Phua Chu Kang Pte Ltd & the first ever Phua Chu Kang episode aired over Singapore! It was great! I got to watch it on HDTV lagi…. Don’t Pray Pray….. Gong Xi Fa Chai to all my Chinese buddies & a *oink oink* time over the Lunar Year…. Gong Xi Fa Chai to PCK also….. Sad to see the show end….~~~

I know it seems fast that I’m posting my next blog but I just have to,
1. coz I have to voice out what I intend to say rather than bottle it up
2. coz I’d like ur opinion on "how NOT to screw up" & "how to fix it".

Yea, u guess it! My bad day has come. This is the thing. I will ALWAYS have a GREAT day or a WORST day. Seldom a so-so day. Why?? Gosh! How would I know…..

It sucks! When ur parents tell u that u have to be responsible for your actions. That u cannot lie, that u must owez keep your word.
It’s stressful when u DO screw up, people get mad at u then u find the millions & millions of ways to fix it but can’t & end up chewing yourself from inside. It sucks!

Brb!

So now that I’ve calmed down & started to think rationally, I’m sober. No longer a wreck.
But it still sucks when u have to take responsibility for what you’ve done.
But this is what I have learn from Jesus. He took other people’s responsibility into his hands & help us all.

It may be painful or it may suck but one thing is for sure, there will be justice, there will be retribution. What goes around comes around. This is NOT a threat but nonetheless this is what I believe in.

The beginning of my day & the end of it was a mess. But in between I got to enjoy a whole lot of new stuff! I attended an AGM, for those of u who r not into business, it stands for Annual General Meeting…. ok! I dont think u’d kno that either. It’s a meeting where people of a certain interest gather together a day in a year to discuss & resolve any decisions for the following year. It’s also an Election. Where there r proxies(representatives to the voters) & voting & passing of resolution.(I just learnt that it’s not called "pass motion")
LOL! My stupid logic was this: the chairperson kept saying we need someone to propose the motion & to second it so that we can pass it. If u think logically, "motion" & "pass". So PASS MOTION lah! right? right? I told my dad this & u kno what he said?? (leme check my hp so I can quote him). He said,and I quote(I love using this phrase!), "Bie, u go toilet? 2 pass motion is to ‘berak’ lah (excretion of faeces or sh*t)! AGM is to pass resolution. Btw was the tea there good? Glad u went."
Now let me explain. Let me explain! Will u…! Ahahaha… geram! It is SAID (I did not make this up), but it is said that if a company (in this case a society) is making a good profit for the year, at the AGM, there will be great food. Cuisine & all that jazz but since this is only a small AGM, there was nonetheless food. To prove it, the Financial Statements showed profits for the year. So it MAY be true. But it is also said (again, I did not make this up! Ask the biz ppl) that if a company was making a loss, there’d either be only coffee or tea or sometimes maybe just bottled mineral water. Hahaha… I don’t kno how true this is coz this is my FIRST EVER AGM that I’m attending & it was an awesome experience!
Btw, for the record, I did pass a motion or a resolution or whatever u may like to call it. So next AGM, if it’s within my schedule, I will be able to attend the NEXT AGM & see my name in this year’s "minutes" layman (not lame man!!) terms it means the schedule of the AGM next AGM. (If u dont get it, let me know…. sheesh!)

So that was my day! Awesome stuff! I even saw my dream company that I wish to work for! MICROSOFT! Why? Coz my lecturer made it like a dream come true to work there. *whispers* They have great staff benefits! *whispers* (If u really wana know, drop me a comment. I’d be obliged to elaborate.

P.S.S. And to Nani again for being there to listen to me talk & to talk with me over my 1 and a half hour lunch! Lol! That’s like a world record for the longest lunch I’ve ever had! Amazing how much talking can slow down ur eating!

New blog for new chapter in my story. Hahaha….it’s now 2309hrs. Less than an hour to write my previous blog. Not bad. Improving on my typing skills. Haha. I started my free day trial for today with the ladies. Hehehe…. Went to change first la duh! Then headed on to the threadmill. Did some walking for 6mins at 5km/h, then sped up to 5.5km/h then 6.5km/h then 7km/h then 7.5km/h jogging, then Nani’s fren came & told me that I shouldn’t go so fast as I’m a beginner and that it might have an adverse affect on my health. She’s so nice to think of that. Although I did feel a bit inferior by her constant remarks about telling me to go slow…. (I had done this before, it’s not like I can’t manage). Then I headed onto something else that I knew, the pedalling exercise machine. There, I did a warm up which I was supposed to do but I did only after the threadmill, then I headed onto the stair master which is actually a machine that mimics that of a person walking up a stairs. I did that for 15mins. Nani was still on the threadmill when I was doing the cycling so when I started the stairmaster, I was a bit slower than her so we finished about the same time. Then I looked at my hp coz I msged my aunt to tell her I wasnt going home so soon & that I’d be a bit late for dinner. So I kept checking my hp for a reply then I realised it was 6.42pm (again, I had a digital clock to tell me this, I don’t tell time to the exact minute!). Our hip hop class had started! It was supposed to be at 6.30pm. So we quickly rushed up the stairs & luckily enough, they were just starting with the warm up. The instructor, apparently sounds Aussie… cool eh! I kinda can’t see his face coz he wore a cap and since we were late, we were kinda at the back…. So we started with the dance moves. According to him, I kept laughing at every mistake I made. He thought I was making a mockery out of Hip Hop, where in fact I was just shy to start dancing ALL over again & to dance where everyone else could see. I needed to catch up on my exercise regime all over again. (mind you, I was VERY athletic in school, doing ECAs, doing sports……) So he’s really good! at dancing…. I have yet to verify if he’s THAT good-looking. Hehehe…. But he kept insisting that "some" of us weren’t doing very well. Must be me coz I’m new & a bit rusty at dancing. He said that if we didnt take it seriously, he would send us out of the studio. Yikes! I knew it was me that was pissing him off. Hahaha…. Not bad eh, 1st impression & oredi I’m pissing off the instructor. So anyway, I tried my best. Nani was trying her best as well. By the end of the lesson, I was doing pretty well but since there were lots of moves & he was going pretty fast! I got lost everytime there was a spin move. After the spin, I’m like, ok, what’s next? When it came to the girls’ turn to dance & the boys to relax, I froze. I remembered the beginning but after the spin, I forgot again. My gosh! Better practice after this so that I can still recall….. After this, I finally got a msg from my aunt. I still have dinner!! yay! So I went to shower….. But thing was, I didn’t know they had a shower here so I didn’t bring extra lingerie or undergarments if u wud like to call it. So what I did was showered, then wore my old clothes except my new shirt which I brought with me & went home like that. They had shampoo, hair conditioner & shower gel so I used them all! It was fun! It was free but there was a price to pay if I were to take the membership. So I was still on the fence about the membership….. but that was in the back of my mind. Heck! I’m enjoying the free day trial too much! Then I used the hair dryer, the cotton bud, the water dispenser. Before we left for the night, we went by toilet to pee of course! Hehehe…… Now I know why the ladies is not necessarily for peeing…… It felt like the girls in there were all getting ready for a prom. Coz there were hair dryers, mirrors everywhere…. well, u get the picture. I was thinking, this feels like when u’re about to go for a date, u pamper urself silly by being in here & dolling urself up for ur man & I’m like, I got no Man! Hahahaha….. It was awesome, before I left, I squeezed some lotion onto my hand then before I left the ladies, I asked the security lady who happened to be nearby, "Is this for the hair or for the hands?" And she’s like, it’s for the hands & I was like, ok, thank you! Hehehehe…. and ran off! Hehehe… returned the towels & headed with Nani to the bus stop to wait for our buses. I had a great day!! I’m glad I managed to get a good deal at the Gym & that Nani could finally benefit from introducing me to California Fitness. So now I’m at home, in my room typing this LOOOOONNGGGG blog coz, well, as u can see, my day was pretty long……. My body doesnt ache so much as it normally does when I do sporting activities but it aches nonetheless. It also doesnt ache as much as when my sis & her fren came to visit & I was wearing wedgies…. hahaha! wedges la…. type of sandal… hallooooo!!! which planet r u from? Kidding! Kidding! Aikzzz…. marah tia….. =p So technically, I’m gona overspend on gym, clothes & what nots…. hopefully I will manage my time properly now that I’ve learnt my lesson from last minute studying & fatigue which has probably made me sleep for like, centuries…… I’m awake from the sleeping mode! The reason why I added the "ONLY" was not because I liked the word, it was cause my day was EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA SUPER DUPER long…. how long? (refer to previous sentence) =p

Wanna kno why? Coz these days I have been so rajin as to study, wake up early & sleep early….
Hahaha… that doesn’t make sense…. that just says how rajin I have been over the week.

Ok! So it all started when I was supposed to go use up my slimming voucher which I was brainwashed into purchasing…. (for those of u who now know, please do not tell my parents unless u wana hav me killed).

So on with my story….

I went to Bugis Library yesterday, Tuesday to rajin rajin study right….. right…..
So then I thot, since I’m here & since it’s lunchtime, I’ll go get my free newspaper courtesy of Today. So I went there, then I was on my way heading back to the Library when I saw this ad from California Fitness…. This line from Russell Peters, "I swear, they put it there to confuse u." (Somehow it fits, don’t ask me how) It said $2 per day…. And I was like, Oh! Cool! So cheap! I wana join…… I thought in the back of my mind, wow! an offer I can’t refuse. I thought it was a $2 a day kinda thing… Rupanya u hav to be committed for a year. A monthly fee of $x will give u approx $2 a day if u count by daily basis. (This I found out later).

So I thought, "Well, hey, why not? There’s nothing that can beat the ad that I saw" (an amended line from Aaron Carter’s song - Oh Aaron)

So I asked Nani to check it out for me today, Wednesday. I woke up at 7.27am (I kno coz I have a Digital clock…. hehehe….)
Then I took my sweet time, showering, washing my hair, then preparing my b’fast to be eaten in class. I like to be there extra early so I can get good seats….

After that I was off, on my way to class….. the strange thing today was that, on the way there, I was relaxed as ever……Amazing! I’m usually very "kan chiong", very in a hurry to be somewhere…. but today, I was so relax & a lil dreamy that I actually forgot it was in the morning & that I was on my way to class. I usually hurry off especially if I’m going for class. Today I almost got swept away that I was going for class. Then I snapped back to reality & I was off walking at around 6km/h (I kno this from a later experience which I will mention soon…. soon….. if u can wait…. hehehehe)

OK. So I was at Bugis Parco Junction, and well, my purpose was to get my eyes checked & to change my contact lens box coz both boxes r for the right eye only…. weird! So anyway, I saw this girl there again today, the same one as yesterday. And guess what? She wasn’t very nice to me yesterday so when I saw her, I walked passed the shop, went AROUND just to avoid passing it again & went to The SPA Culture. The place where the voucher came from. so I hesitated a bit, then finally decided to give it a shot & find out what they’re services are.

So I went there, "I swear! People who don’t know me, look at me weird. As if I’m some retarded person & when I open my mouth to speak, they react differently". It’s really demeaning. SO anyway, back to my story. I asked her about this & that…. (I find it a bit useless now & I’m kinda getting tired so I’ll kinda skip this part & proceed on to the exciting one). She kept saying that one session was not enough & I bought a session which MAY or may NOT show much results. But the alternative was the facial….. I asked my sis & her fren when they were here to visit for their opinion, they said facial. (I have yet to blog about their visit here… sorry!)

So then I thought, ok I’ll ask mum.

Then came another problem. The $2 a day, was not $2 a day on a on-off basis. There was committment…… for a year!
Then I started to get confused….. they started explaining….. Luckily I had Nani there to consult & compare with if it was "feasibly acceptable"…. (too much accounting work)

So, then he gave me SO many alternatives, I almost went blurr. I couldn’t think straight & I couldn’t decide if it’s a committment I can commit to. So he was nice enough to tour me around & let me think it over for a day…. due date is tmrw in case u’re wondering…..

So, then Nani tells me that I can get a free one-day trial at the gym & I got the pass for today…. I used it up, I LURVED the day I had…….

It started of with the tour, it was amazing….. the toilets r like, brand new…..
Btw, if I forgot to mention, California Fitness belongs to Jackie Chan aka Chan Chen Loong, the Kung Fu master cum actor, or wud u rather call it Famous actor because of his skill in Kung Fu.

So on with the story…
there r 2 floors… TWO!! TWO huge floors!! Ok… first floor is for Cardio exercise…. they have the cycling machine, the threadmill, the stairmaster, etc. etc….. The best part! It’s in air-cond & there’s a TV for u to enjoy while exercising….! Take ur pic, MTV, Channel 5, Channel NewsAsia, Star Sports…. wow!

The 2nd floor is mostly the dance studio, the abdomen exercise machines, the thigh, the knees, well, all the muscles la… I don’t remember oredi. Then since Nani was with me, the guy told me (ok, since I’m gona keep calling him "the guy" & I myself don’t kno his name, I will disappear for awhile to go get his calling card & TELL u ppl his name)…..

This is the beauty of blogging. I will disappear for dunno how many minutes to go charge my poor hp which has been overused today msging my parents for approval & permission and I will come back & continue my story & u won’t feel the difference.

So his name is Phang Ti Tuan, let’s call him Tuan… ahhaha…. Tuan…. I think I will call him Phang. ok sounds more phat. (whatever!)

So where was I? Oh yea, so Phang told Nani to bring me to the ladies since he couldn’t go in. I was a bit silly to think he would bring me in to show me. But he went a bit shy & said to Nani, u bring her in & let her see since u know the place pretty well. And she was like, ok. I went in….. Wow! Was I amazed! they had individual lockers, bring ur own lock so u can lock ur own locker & they don’t cost a cent extra. Then there was the water dispenser. They were almost everywhere. Even if u didn’t bring ur water bottle, u can still get indispensible water. Then head on was the dressing table! There’s a dressing table!!! Even my room doesn’t have a dressing table. What’s more, there’s a hair dryer, a box of cotton pads, cotton buds, hand lotion & tissue box. It was like being in Brunei’s 5-star hotel, Empire Hotel! (I stayed there TWICE! Nyeh nyeh ni nyeh nyeh! =p)

Then Nani brought me to around the corner. The surprise was not over…. upon heading to the showers, I scolded Nani, "Nani! why u never tell me it’s THIS nice!!!?!?!??!". And she defensively replied, "I did! U didn’t believe me!"

I probably don’t remember how impressed Nani was when she joined membership but I don’t think I would be THIS sober about it even after being member for 4mths oredi!

So we went to see the showers, then Nani excitedly brought me to see the other part of the ladies. There was a Sauna & a Sauna…. hahahaha! ok! I duno what u call it but there’s a heated sauna & a vapour sauna…. correct me if I’m wrong but this is how I shall call it from now on.

Then we peeked into both… there was a lady in each sauna wrapped in a towel. They looked like they were enjoying it VERY much. I was wearing my specs today so when I opened the vapour sauna, my glasses fogged up & Nani laughed at me… =p The vapour sauna reminded me a lot of the Friends TV Series incident… those of u who watched that episode can relate.

So… then I left the ladies with Nani & headed back to meet Phang to discuss the serious matter of my visit… the fees… We discuss earlier about how I came to kno about C.Fitness, etc but didn’t discuss the fees until later on. So we discussed. Nani kept sniffing away coz her fees r MUCH more than what the guy was offering me…. So I thought, ok, a good bargain & he was like, I’ll give u a month’s free…. I started to smile again…. man! I was like on Mars or something… it was a crazy up & down feeling……

Maybe coz I kept insisting that my parents may or may not allow & that I’m a student & that if I was working, I would definitely say yes anyday or even if I were to strike lottery, I would say yes immediately. I kept hesitating to say yes or anything for that matter.

I didn’t wana pay a deposit now & say I will join but tmrw decide that I don’t wana & then I’ve oredi paid……. I’ve learnt my lesson from the Voucher I bought from The SPA Culture.

So, he then decided to give me a deal, a student package at $x price for a 11-mth period, 1 mth free, no enrollment fee & processing fee of $98. This was like, the BEST price he could offer me oredi. No cheaper! Then he said he will let me pay some amount now & another amount at the end of the month. He agreed. So then Nani got me the free day trial for a day. He wanted to give it to me tmrw, but I insisted on today coz I was oredi there (one), and two, I oredi brought my clothes with me. AND three, Nani told me a few times that they have Hip Hop classes on Wednesday so I ambil kesempatan & join for the day. (Very tired, rest kajap yerr??)

I have temporarily not blogged for a long while coz of exams, the Christmas, the New Year….. practically coz I cudnt get internet connection or the time to blog…. hahahaha. Lame excuse. It is also coz, the ppl who USUALLY read this can see me over the holidays so y the need to blog? Lol! =p

Tricia is coming to Singapore today!! Yay!! Hahaha…only now I blog oh? so lame…. We’re gona go jalan jalan & eat eat eat!

Chinese New Year is coming…. Oh man! Another year gone by…. Xmas has come & gone… one of my fave celebrations… exchange of gifts, partying & laughing all night long! Hehehehe…. Awesome stuff eh?

Well, the other day I was thinking of something silly but now I can’t rmbr it. I rmbr it as being VERY funny tho. Hahahaha…. Sot liao wo… =p

Anyway, when I rmbr it, I will blog about it again… No~~~~ Don’t stop ur comments! hahaha… but then if I dont blog, no comments right? HAhaha that is understood lor… Gtg do some hwk now before Tricia comes. Once she comes, no time to do hwk or even bothered to do… Cia is coming! Who wants to do hwk??? U gotta be crazy! Lol….

Today was one of those days where u get up, feel sleepy, wana go back to sleep but can’t coz u have class today & u simply must try to stay awake for the whole lecture for fear of missing out some important stuff for exams… yea, my day started out like that, until……

(Does it sound like one of those TV series u watch on TV, this is the epilogue, then comes the theme song & finally the show begins…?? HEhee… I miss my Grey’s Anatomy that’s why my blog starts like this!) <– this would be the theme song =p

Story:
Woke up this morning at 7am, I put the alarm clock RIGHT next to my bed & since new batts were put in, the alarm rings VERY loudly… I tell u, that alarm clock of mine could even wake up the whole house! Lol….
I turned it off, went back to sleep to catch a lil shut eye & waited for the ‘princess’ to be out frm the washroom… I finally got out of bed at 7.17am… (My clock is digital that’s y I sound so accurate), made my bed & just lay on my made bed for awhile until the washroom became vacant. Then went to brush my teeth & went downstairs to have b’fast… I purposely stuffed myself this morning so that I won’t eat again until lunch time but I was hungry even before 1pm!

We kept bullying Nani about being the only person in class NOT to wear black coz somehow, Snow, Evianty & I were wearing black blouses with blue jeans…creepy eh… GMTA! Great Minds Think Alike…. hehehe… but the funny thing was, quite a number of other ppl, including the lecturer were wearing Black as well….

Was practically falling asleep when the lecturer was teaching.. only woke up when she finally starting doing illustrations & questions. I tend to feel VERY sleepy when it comes to theory…. all the talking & no writing is very boring….

After class, went for lunch at the usual place, ate Fried Rice w/ Corn Soup which costs $4.50. Long time no eat coz I’ve been tryna save money but at the end of each month, I still spend so much! *sigh* So I thot I’d treat myself today & eat Fried Rice… stuffed myself silly! which was a bad idea… then went to study room where I was almost falling asleep…Then Nani & Carrie were discussing some stuff.. At first I didn’t wana get involved, wanted to focus on my studying, but in the end, I joined them… after discussing & sharing ideas, hehehe, i went back to study room. Then I was going in & out, in & out till Snow came back from gift shopping & told me she lost her ATM… See ppl! this is what u get when u don’t look after ur things properly… hehehe… that’s why u shud always bring me when u go shopping! I will be ur security guard… hehehe….. jk jk! U shud be responsible 4 ur own stuff! I can’t be responsible FOR u! (unless u wana pay me… $_$)

So anyway, turns out the card was still at the counter, she passed it to security who was on the 5th floor, we went there & the security was like, "can u describe the card?" & I was like, eh? this is not a human being eh… this is a card! how else do u describe a card? But my friend lagi pandai la.. she said it’s a _ _ _ _ Card, _ _ _ _ colour… (obviously I won’t tell u kali ah! giler… u don’t tell ppl abt ur ATM Card or Credit Biz online okay!?!?) & he was like, "Is there a name on the card or no name on the card?" & I was like, nyeh?? _ _ _ ATM Cards don’t have names on it lah… & then he just asked to fill in the form & we could go oredi… At first he made it seem so hard to retrieve the card then after that, bagi aja la…. nyeh??

Ok…. then back in the study room, for like 30mins, then went off for Ice-Cream… not just ANY ice-cream, Haagen Daaz!!! Woohooo!!!~~~
Our kawan so nice! She belanja us coz she got prizes for being the top 3 in Singapore for 2 papers.. pro yo!! So she brot us to Raffles City to have our yummy Ice-cream….. guess what we ordered??? FONDUE!!!!! F-O-N-D-U-E!!!! Yum!! Never tried before so we thot we’d give it a go, turns out it was really goooood~~~
We all first timers go makan at Haagen Daaz so ambil kesempatan & take pix lor…. Vain, i kno… =p
While taking, I kept making so much fuss, the girls almost started to drool looking at the Fondue but not able to eat it YET!
Then came this lil girl out of no where… adorably cute lil girl… & she was like, "Hi!"
I looked at her, ingat kenal… rupanya inda but just say Hi balik ler…. set good example to the kids of today okay!! remember that!
Then she walked away…. ntah ah… attracted by our laughter kali, she kept coming back…
I’ll make it easier, this was our conversation:
Lil Girl: It’s my birthday today!
Me: Really? Happy Birthday!
Snow: How old are you?
Lil Girl: Five…..
Me: Oh…. [=p saja....]
Snow: What’s your name?
Lil Girl: Jo….
Snow: Jo?
Lil Girl: Jo-ey…

[I tell u, she's very cute! & very talkative!!]

Then she disappeared.. went back to her Mom…
Then we started to eat…. yum yum…

Then she came back again… so cute eh! She was looking at us eat & I wanted to offer her a bite but then I wasn’t sure wat she likes to eat so I was asking the girls & I think she heard me… coz she said, "I ate already… I had a Barbie cake."

She walked away & came back..
Joey: U wanna see something?
Me: Urmm… okay…
Joey: See! This is big! (She coiled up her cardigan ribbon string into a swirl)
Then it gets smaller *she uncoils it*
Me: I see… (looking at the girls & start to get worried… thinking ‘How long will we have to entertain her…??’)

Then I said to the girls, "Entertainment"
Snow was like, "Free Entertainment!"
We burst out laughing…

Me: *looks back at her* Do u know how to tie a ribbon??
Joey: I know…. hold on…. *starts to run away saying "Wait ah…uh, i mean hold on"*

Then she goes away… and we get to talk for awhile till she returns again….

Joey: See! I know how to tie….
Me: (I was mean, I burst her bubble saying "I kno what u did!"
Joey: *her face turns red & she goes away…*

When she came back, Evianty asked her who she’s with, she said, "My mom & my Ah Yee…urm… My God Mother." Then off she went…

I tell u, it was like playing cats & dogs with her.. she kept running away & coming back… Then again, maybe it was more like tag!

Then she comes back with stickers!
Joey: See! I got stickers!
Me: Oh… are they ur birthday presents?
Joey: yea… my Ah Yee (or Mummy… I forgot) gave it to me. I have Barbie, Princess & Minnie Mouse…..
All: *smile at her then each other*

Then she sorta had an idea & she went away, when she came back, she was holding the Minnie sticker & asked me if I wanted a sticker… I said… "urmm.. okay…"
Joey: which one? *covering the huge minnie sticker in the middle* (I wanted to laugh coz I was like that too when I was younger)
Me: Any one… u pick.
Joey: Urmm… okay!
She takes out the Donald Duck sticker, deciding who to give it to…then she goes, "Let’s play a game… we make 2 teams, U (points at me) & her (points at Snow) will be in one team, & u & her (points at Evianty & Nani) will be the other team."
Then she holds the sticker behind her back & starts to recite those rhymes where, when u cant decide, u recite those rhymes to make a decision… she goes, "Ee-ny, Mee-ny, My-ni, Moe.. Catch a spider on the wall, if it wiggles, let it go, Ee-ny Mee-ny My-ni Moe!"
I didnt see how she was doing it, but in the end, the Donald Sticker came to me… (nyeh! I kno.. funny right?)
And I was like, "Are u sure u want to give this to me??" She was nodding… so I said, "I’ll put it here on my handphone…" Then she smiled… then she started to take out a book for Snow… then Snow & Nani were like, "How come it’s smaller??" And I was like, "Be grateful she wanted to give it to u….!" Actually it was more like, "She give u, good oredi lor…" =)
Then she gave a clock to Evianty… she said, "Tick tock for u…" then she started to sing, "Hickory Dickory Dock, the mouse went up the clock, the clock struck one, the mouse went down, Hickory Dickory Dock, Tick Tock."

I was smiling all the way… I think I was the only one amongst the girls to know the rhymes she was saying…..

She I said to Evianty, "So nice! she get tick tock!"

Then she gave Nani one also… I forgot what it was…. but Nani & Snow asked her this silly question & I was like, "Don’t be silly, she’s 5! not 2!"
Then she laughed & copied what I said, "Yea… Don’t be silly!" We started to burst out laughing…

Then she removed the unwanted part of the sticker, the ’stencil’, sort of & asked if anyone wanted it… she’s smart I must say…. she knows that no one would want it…. but she made it seem so interesting… she said, "U can put it on ur hand…" I looked at her & thot, no way…. but told her, "Give it to the waitress over there…." Then we started laughing… she said, "Noo…" Then she placed it on the table & I was like, "no… don’t put it there…" So in the end, I put it on my arm… we all started to laugh again…

Then her mom called her & told her to stop disturbing other people… I smiled at her mom but barely got a smile from her…. I kinda figured that her mom didn’t like her talking to the lot of us…

But after she left, she said "Bye-bye!" & I was like, "Bye! Happy Birthday!"
Before she went off, she actually gave the Waitress a sticker too… see how adorably cute & generous she is!! I envy her personality! Hehehe
When she got on the escalator, I noticed that her mom & Ah Yee were also wearing Black & Jeans… I told the girls & we all started to laugh again….

That was our day… fun wasn’t it? A lot of laughter…! hehehe…. And a very entertaining tea time…. hehehe… Hope to see her again sometime… *Sigh*

Dear friends & sisters who read my blog entries,

Firstly, Happy Deepavali to my Indian friends or friend…(As far as I kno, I only hav ONE Indian friend but if u’re Indian & u’re reading this, Happy Deepavali!)
Secondly, to my Muslim friends… (I kno I have many Muslim frens… this is for sure!) Selamat Hari Raya.. Maaf Zahir & Batin ya?
I said Deepavali first coz in chronological order, Deepavali festival is FIRST… no offence or anything ya?

If U had not known of my whereabouts over the DeepaRaya holiday, I was in Malacca.
Why u ask? Coz my sis was going down & I thot I’d meet up with her so we can go shopping & eating together. It has been months since we last raided Malacca…. We used to go there to do shopping, lepak in the house watching movies & eating eating eating all day…. not forgetting, lazing around the house….

I’ve been feeling kinda stressed lately what with all the exams & not many lectures left to exams that I couldn’t take it anymore & decided to go to M’cca for the long weekend just to relax & breathe! *inhale*…. *exhale*

I’m usually not the type to stay home, stay in bed & sleep all day… I’m also not the type to stay home, not talk to anyone but the maid (which barely knows much about what I’m going through) and most of all, be on my own with no one to laugh with, ie. I need a laughing companion, anyone interested?? No criteria or whatever nonsense… as long as willing to laugh their A** off… lol!

So, the long weekend in M’cca was a blast! I got to travel on bus to M’cca on my own! Man! It felt guud & scary at the same time. I was so afraid that I’d get kidnapped or raped…. but when I got to the bus stop, I felt quite confident that everything would go well. I reached the bus station almost 45mins earlier than I was supposed to (THAT was how eager I was willing to get away from my stress!) so I waited there happily…. almost smiling to everyone that I thot was going on the bus.. (I sound insane I know…) but I was too happy & overjoyed that I couldn’t help it. I even made friends with my seat buddy…. (the person who sits BEside u…. =p) He was going back for Deepavali…. when I told my cousin this, she was asking me, "Is he cute??" & I replied, "urmmm…. he’s an uncle! he isn’t THAT young, How can I say he’s cute??" (u get the picture)…. But he was friendly nonetheless… Apparently his family stays in M’cca…. coz when I asked him if he was going BACK to M’cca he said yes but then he took out this immigration form & I started to get curious so I asked, "Malaysians have to fill in a form??" & then he said, "No need right?" & I was like, "Yea…*blurr*"
Then I noticed that his passport was in Tamil, right there & then I wanted to hit myself on the forehead…. of course! That’s why he’s so friendly….! (I’d explain it but I don’t really kno how…. just that I have this ‘theory’ about local Indians & expat Indians).

So we were on the bus, minding our own business…. (lol! It’s funny to even think about it!) ok….so we were on the bus, M.O.O.B (refer above), when the Caucasian couple started to talk to this urmm…."mysterious biz man". I call his mysterious coz I can’t tell if he’s Chinese, Malay, Indian or Portugese…. maybe a mix of all! lol!
Ok. So they started talking & knowing me, I’ve picked up this habit of listening to other people’s conversation when on public transport….so I listened in. They couple were foreign STUDENTS!! They weren’t tourists or travellers… but they were STUDENTS! I didnt ask where la…. (obviously, I wasn’t in their conversation, so it’s not like I could’ve asked =P)
So, they were going to M’cca for the Deeparaya holiday as well & it seemed to be their FIRST time to M’cca…. & they talked & talked & I listened to both parties talk & I came to learn a lot more about M’cca from that mysterious man… He seemed to go to SOO many foreign places & he seemed to be very wise in the way he was talking, with a lot of poise & stuff stuff……

Then after awhile, they stopped talking & I went on to listen to my iPod, before I knew it, we were at the immigration checkpoint…. I’ll skip this part considering there isn’t much that went on except that I passed M’sia customs without being checked at all!! Awesome or what?? I was so excited!! It’s not like I have anything illegal, I just dont like them to go through my clothes esp my underwear… gross~~~~

So I was in M’sia! I was kinda high!! I was glad that I was going & I continued to listen to my iPod…. after an hour or so we reach Black Water… actually it’s called Ayer Hitam… translated to English it means Black Water. Black Water sounded more intriguing so I used that to msg my dad & sis to tell them that I’m in M’sia oredi. When I got there, I was sooooo hungry coz I made this STooooopid mistake of skipping b’fast while travelling! So I headed to the snacks corner to buy snacks on the bus to eat & then decided to order something for lunch as well. When I paid for my snacks & was about to go to the foodcourt area to order my lunch, the nice man, my seat buddy offered to buy me a drink. At first I thought that he was asking me if I wanted to order anything, as in I tumpang order from him but then he paid & was sitting down at a table when I ordered my Roti Canai lunch & paid. So I went over to the table & he asked me to sit with him…. Don’t worry, during the 2 and a half hours of the ride on the bus, I knew he was a normal, honest ordinary guy & not a "stranger" so I sat down & had my roti canai lunch… I found it a bit funny coz he was Indian & I was eating an Indian dish in front of him.. hehehe I found it funny, anyway….
So, we didnt talk much, just sat there, finished my lunch & went back to the bus… I also went to the toilet, but that isn’t important detail…=p But when I told him, he shook his head like a normal traditional Indian… I just smiled…
To tell u the truth, after he bought me that drink, I was a lil, mind you I said a LITTLE, afraid that it was drugged & that I might fall asleep & get raped…. :S but I didn’t worry about it too much coz he seems VERY innocent & he has a very nice & expensive handphone yooo… & also, he speaks fluent English so he’s not the pervertic  type… I can’t believe I said that, but so that u’re clear, I said it okay??

On the way to M’cca, we were almost reaching…the Caucasian couple started to talk to the mysterious man again…. that’s when my seat buddy, started to talk & ask me more questions… this is the funny part, most of the questions he asked me, I dinno the answers to, like, "Do u kno whether the local banks can withdraw money from foreign back accounts?" & "Do u kno if there is UOB banks in M’sia?" *blurr* I dinno the answers to these questions, honestly coz I don’t put my cash in M’sia bank a/cs, mostly in Brunei & S’pore….& the funny thing was, that we kept talking & talking like we were tryna compete with the couple & the mysterious biz man, like, who could talk the longest or whose conversation was more interesting.. it seems silly but I found it weird & funny at the same time… hehehe

Nonetheless, I arrived M’cca……when we reached, I was busy carrying my heavy load off the bus & my seat buddy had already gotten off the bus. He happened to be standing nex to my uncle who came to fetch me…. When I saw them both, I greeted my Uncle & wish my seat buddy a Happy Deepavali.. He said Thank you & he was off… Then I went to get my bag & off we went into my uncle’s car, back to his home to see my cousins & to unpack…

Anyway, then Colby mentioned that a pair of twins were gonna come on stage & I was like, who could it be??? Then he said May & Choi! & I was like, Nooo! May & Choi?!?! Get out!! Then, came on stage, May & Choy!! Wow…. they look pretty (ok, I did say before that I didn’t like them coz they were too wacky, but when they came on stage, they didnt seem all that bad.) And one of them was like, "Are you having fun??" & we were like, "yea!! Wooo-hoooo~~" & then the other was like, "Are u felling pretty tonight??" & the crowd went a lil silent. & she was like, "Aww… come’on have some confidence!! Are you felling pretty tonight?" & we were like "yea!" but not as loud as b4. They were really pretty. I think it was Choy, her hair was really nice & curly…. They presented 5 awards & then went off.

Another presenter came on. Dunno who she was but she was pretty also & she had boootifull curls. She announced then went off.

Then this group of 3 girls who came onstage, they were like the local BOND but with only 3 people. They played very well & I liked their music. But what caught my attention was that they were wearing not only heels, but high heels at that & it was jeweled!! Gorgeous!! Really Gorgeous…..~~ there were Gems on them. I really like their heels. I can’t imagine how pain it must be to wear such heels.

Then, they had another fashion show of their award-winning fashion lines, Birkenstock was the 1st followed by a few famous names which I dunno.. They had Agnes B, La Senza (which was very sexy but I couldnt get a shot of the model), Sea Folly, Levi’s & many more. The cute guy didnt come onstage for this one… Sad~

Then, they intro’ed the DJ for the night & that was the end of the Fashion show. It was now a Fashion Party~~~~
Since we were the lucky 500 readers to get in, we got free complimentary drinks from Zouk. My friends ordered & drank theirs before & during the show. I didnt wana drink so early. So before we left, I ordered my drink. Tina & Carrie went clubbin’ before so they knew what to order. Somehow, I liked their drink so I ordered one & told the girls that if I became drunk, they have the responsibility to send me home. They were like, no way & I was like, put me in a taxi & send me home. Hehehe….

So, I decided to order a Brandy with Coke coz that’s what Tina & Carrie were drinking. It was nice. I felt high.. hehehe so to speak. I dont really get high on alcohol alone… I get high when I’m with my friends also.

We went to get our pix that we took earlier during the night & took more pics at the same place.

Then, Carrie, being the BIG che-che & having school tomoro, said she wanted to go home so being the LIL mei-mei’s we had to go home. Since most of the models were going home, we might as well too. We went out, took some pics outside ZOUK as proof that we went to ZOUK & guess what?? I passed that cute french guy again… He was just sooooo cute~~~ EEeeee!

After he walked off & we were just about to walk towards Snow & Tina, I noticed Carrie walking away very fast. I thought she was mad at us for making her wait so long. So I asked Tina why she was walking so fast. Then Tina said, "She wants to chase after the guy!" And I was like, "The Cute French Guy?" "He’s very cute!!!" and I zoomed off to Carrie to go with her to chase the cute guyzzz….. Apparently, thanks to them, we managed to find the bus stop to go home. I told the girls (pandai2) that they were going to the bus stop also. So I told the girls to follow them. And we did. It felt like lil kids chasing after Candy. Coz we were like, walking faster & faster and finally when we reached the bus station, some of them split. And apparently Carrie’s cute guy went off oredi. I thot we were after the same guy. Apprently not. My cute guy was waiting for the bus. I wanted to get his pic but we kept hesitating & didnt kno how to ask, etc etc… But luckily, we were boarding the same bus(Bus 16! The bus I will never forget!).

We got on & I kept asking Nani, "How to ask?? I wana ask but dare not, How!?!?!?"
So I tried to distract myself of thinking that if I don’t get a pic, I will faint.
But turns out that our stop was the same one! When we got off, I think that was when the Brandy hit me… I just could help it. I asked Tina to take a pic for me. I asked him nicely if I could take a pic with him & he was like, "Me?" Then he asked his fren/bro & I was like, "sure, both of you…." 2 guys better than 1 right?
So Tina took one pic, but it was blurr. I told her to hold the phone still longer but she misunderstood & held the button too long which kept giving out of focus & practically no picture at all…. after 3 tries, the guys were getting impatient & they said something was wrong with my camera so I told Tina to go in & I took the pic… a sad story I knoe…. But guess what? I got hugged by that cute guy & his fren at lease 4 times!! I could feel my ears burning up. Luckily I had my new haircut to cover my ears. Hehehe.. It was soooo funny. I thanked them and walked right off. I didnt want a friendly obsession to become a total mess. Snow was there hiding away coz she malu to take pic in front of so many people. I went to call her & we walked our way to the MRT to go home. Tina kept apologising but I kept saying it was ok. Technically, it was OK coz I got hugged 4 times by cute guys….. I’m more happy than just a simple picture… but nonetheless, I had both…. the cute guy standing next to me & his pic! Altho Tina was in it, I still got his pic! I soooo don’t regret it! I think, Thanks to the Brandy, it gave me courage to ask that cute guy for his pic.

We were going on & on from Lucky Plaza till the MRT about how cute they guy was & Tina kept apologising while I was saying nevermind all the way, that I got hugged & that I wouldn’t sleep at all the whole night…. Wow….. It was really like a dream… Dreamsss do come true~~~ Hehehe….
And guess what? I came home at 10.45pm. That’s like, early for someone who went clubbin’ (altho we didnt dance…. we just shook a few body parts to the beat). I had fun! And my Aunty was very supportive of my going out. I told her I wont be back late & apparently, I wasn’t late. I was back before them.

So, this was my whole day…. Very long I know but I wana keep this blog & frame it somewhere to remind me of my first time going to Zouk…. all thanx to CLEO magazine! They are simply the best!! I managed to get a piece of expensive outfit at an reasonably cheap price thanx to CLEO & I managed to order & drink my first alcoholic drink & enjoyed&finished it. Overall, I had a 10/10 day…. Hehehe…. How was yours?? I’m sure it was great too! DO tell me about it. I’d love to hear all sorts of wonderful stories of life…… Well, gtg to sleep now & dream of my dream guy who didn’t get away….. Sad thing was, I didnt get his name or anything like that. I kinda froze. I knew a lil French but I was afraid that I’d say it wrongly or something…. But I wont forget this night…. The night where I met celebs & met cute guys, drank my first real drink & got hugged 4 times! So I wanna thanx Nani, Snow, Carrie & Tina for tagging along with me to ZOUK. I had a blast!! Good night!

Btw, did I mention that I met Jasmine Tye? 2nd runner up for Singapore Idol 2006….. She was very friendly… say Hello lagi….. I was slow to register so I didn’t say Hi…. (me not sombong one…) *innocent*

Wow…. where do I start? My whole day today was a blast!
It was like a dream….. a very lovely, cloudy dream….. I so don’t wana wake up!

It started with an innocent purchase of a CLEO magazine. From there, everything went WILD! I saw this invitation to CLEO’s Fashion Awards Party…. I thot, darn… too bad sis isn’t here to go with me. But then when I showed it to my friends, they surprisingly agreed to go, since it was free of course & it didnt start too late.

Anyways, so today, I woke up at weird times, probably too excited about going to ZOUK for the first time. I woke up at 6.55am, (I usually set a timer for my air-cond to go off, but it went off too early & it was getting very warm) to switch my air-cond back on. Then again at 8 something, then a few times between 9 to 10am. Then I finally gave up & got out of bed at 10.20am. By then I knew I overslept but then I didnt wana get a migrane in the middle of the party tonight so I let myself oversleep this time.

I took almost forever to pick out what to wear. Coz u wana look sleek (& not slutty) when u go clubbin’ & u gotta have ur ID, etc etc. So I took almost 2 hours to pack my things, organise, etc. By 12.15noon, I was all set & ready to leave the house.

I wore something kinda sexy but I would say something I dont usually wear, ie. a mini skirt & heels. I walked smoothly to the bus stop & guess what? I was lucky! Coz my bus had just arrived & I sorta trottled for my bus. Luckily the bus driver saw me. I hadn’t realised how short my skirt was till I sat down. I had to use my bag to cover my thighs…. (honestly, it was shorter than my average skirt but not as short as those girls on the street’s skirts).

Somewhere, on the way, this boy alighted the bus. He sat in front of me. He turn around to look so I smiled at him. Then it was like he was addicted to my smile or something coz he kept standing up & turning around to look at me. His mom was sitting next to him & she kept asking him to sit down… I kno what u’re thinking now, it sounds fishy doesn’t it? Maybe it’s coz the longkang is near my house…. Hehehe. Kidding!! So where was I? Oh yes, my blog sounding fishy… urmmm…. oh yea! I forgot to mention, that the boy was a lil boy about the age of 2+. He was adorably cute & he kept standing up, turning around to look at me coz I kept smiling at him. (I can’t help it, I smile at all lil walks of life. Kids that is!)

So that was my amusing bus ride….. Then came class…. I barely (altho I tried very hard) to concentrate in class. I couldn’t. Coz I was so excited about going to Zouk. My first time kali ah… Memanglah iski! =P

Skip the boring part, class……

Then we went for dinner. Snow had to rush home to get her ID.(That’s another long story).
Nani & Me had Mee Soto at a food court nearby while waiting for Carrie to send her things home & for Snow to arrive with her ID.
Things were starting to get messy coz it seems like we were behind schedule & stuff stuff.

So when we all met up, we immediately crossed the road to take the bus to ZOUK (for those of u who wana come to S’pore, call me if u wana go ZOUK. I kno how to get there by bus oredi). When we arrived there, which was just around 7pm, there was barely a crowd. So we thought we were lucky. Turns out, we were the very early few & the gates officially opened at around 7.45pm. By then, the other girls kept asking when we could go in, how much longer it was going to take, etc…. We saw Michelle Chia & Michelle Chong. At first, when I saw them, I was like, "Hey, I kno her! what’s her name again??" Everytime I see a celeb, somehow I can’t seem to remember their names…. weird~
Anyway, we saw them on the Pink Carpet…. (no red coz this is a Dollipop Fashion Party)…. Pink for Barbie!~~
So finally when we went in, we were received by bouncers who HAD to check our ID & give us authorised luminous chops on our hands. Then we went further in & we were standing in a sea blue tunnel…. it was awesome…. this tunnel lead us to the entrance of the party… where we had a photo session for each group that u came with. Nani, Snow & I took a pic together (which at the end of the day, was really nice!). Carrie & Tina took another pic together. Then we went into the actual place where the party was at…. It was awesome!! They filled the room with luminous light & since I was wearing white, I saw blue….. hehehehe…..There were 2 bars & really cool ones at that.
So we proceeded into the club, towards the stage area…. We waited awhile for the awards to start & guess who came on stage?? I couldn’t recall his name either but luckily he introduced himself. He said, "Hello everyone! I’m Colby & this is Jamie." (something like that) & I went, "Oooooo VJ Colby!!" He looks so good up close….
I started snapping pics away but it was very clear. I took the pics anyway.
Then Michelle Chong & Michelle Chia came onstage to present 5 awards. After that, the French Connection Models started to come out…. They were really tall & thin…. some even very skinny! But the one model that caught my eye was this cute brunette french guy. I dunno why, but he was very eye-catching & I couldnt resist taking a pic of him. But when he came near, I couldnt get a chance to snap the photo (too busy oogling).
Anyway, after they left the runway, 2 more presenters came on stage. I didn’t kno them, but apparently they were a married couple…. Anihu, they presented & they left the stage. Then Colby & Jamie came back onstage thanked the presenters & introduced a rapper…. apparently he’s a local Malay coz he mentioned that he was fasting & that he’d be releasing a new album in March…. he was kinda cool. He’s like a teddy bear (as they have said so) but his hair was afro-cool & he seemed really good at the rapping. If only I understood what he was saying. I could only get certain words that he was rapping.
