Sushi, Green Tea & Ice-cream!
Dear all who have been reading my blog, (but have hardly ever commented & those who have, have stopped commenting recently…. hahaha.) =p
Today, well, last night I slept pretty late….. 1.30am I think. I was reading this book about prayer & then I was looking at the bus guide. Haha. Nothing better to do. So anyway, I set my alarm this morning, wanted to get up & get ready for class. Ok… I think I’ll skip this part… nothing nice anyway. I just wanted to mention that I MADE myself get up only coz there was thunder & lightning & if I didn’t get up ASAP, I’d get caught in the rain, fall even sicker & even be late for class. So I finally woke up at 7.30am, which I set my alarm to wake me at 6.45am. Haha…Got dressed, brought my lappie out with me, wore a jumper so I wouldn’t get caught in the rain…when I reached the bus stop, my bus came! lucky me. I got on the bus & I was off to class.
Ah, I’ll skip it. I can’t wait to talk abt my afternoon.
So after class, we wanted to go for lunch, the usual gang, N, E, S, our new fren - LW & myself. LW mentioned that Cold Storage had 50% off on sushi! So I wanted to grab some stuff & then head for lunch, just to share share with the others.
When we got there, We picked out some here, some there to share & try. Then I remembered that N said she’d treat us if/when she passed her Tax Paper. I mentioned it, and immediately they started to pester her abt it. Being such a good sport, she agreed to treat us. So we picked out some here, some there. By the end of it, we picked out so many, we decided that it’d be for lunch. So we went to buy drinks, & thanx to our new student lounge, we had our lunch there. Lol!
We were trying this & that & this & that. By the end of our meal, we were soooo full that we kept pushing the extra sushi’s to each other, saying, "You picked it, you said u wanted it, so it’s urs… eat it!" Then we had to play that game, when we were younger, we’d play "tag" or "it". You know, when we have to decide who’s "it". I don’t know what they call it in English, I’ve always called it "O-sam", then the 2 who were out, had to play "Scissors, Paper, Stone". We played for awhile, then E decided to eat it in the end. Lol. We had green tea & sushi… then I suggested Ice-cream. They were game for it. 2 of them went to McD, while the 3 of us stayed back to sit around & digest our makan. lol. I was actually on my lappie trying to find out abt the Charity Bazzar next Saturday at Fort Canning. We can set up our own stalls & sell barang barang to raise moneh for the Breast Cancer Foundation, the foundation which my mom loves to collect the pink ribbons from.
So I sent the email, & we started discussing what there was to sell. Second hand stuff, hand-made stuff, food…. but the flyer didn’t mention any of that so we had to write it. I wrote in while they went to buy the ice-cream. After that, when we were done eating, laughing & poking fun at N (she’s easy to bully, so we often bully her), we signed our attendance at the library & went up into the study room for our self-study. Actually, since our class this morning was vacant for the afternoon, we left our things there. When we got back, they locked it. Haha… At first we thought S, who went up first was pulling a prank on us coz we were pulling a prank on her telling her we were at the 10th floor, when we were actually on the ground floor. Lol. Hide n’ seek! We got our barang, laughed our way out & went to the designated study rooms to supposedly do our selfstudy but as u can see, right now, I’m on the lappie, typing this blog & later I’m gona leave it on to download some stuff…. hehehe… well, that’s my day for now…
Usually, at night nothing much goes on so there isn’t much to say. This is my day so far. It has its ups & downs, but I just lurve the ups that I get…. thanx N, E, S & LW for brightening up my day. Ciao~
