Wow! I dun even kno where to start…… *blurr*
Yesterday was awesome!! I went to Sentosa for the first time in a very long time…apparently since 1992….. Wow! & Well,I didn’t get to see what I supposedly saw in 1992, but I got to see a whole lot more… But it was, nonetheless, the other side of life….. at Sea!
The minute I arrived there, I was wondering… how on earth it’d be like.. coz seriously, I haven’t been to one that was this great. The entrance was like so-so, when I first arrive… I was wondering like, urm… ok $10 seems a bit pricy for entrance… But ok lor, I didn’t pay what… Wanted to but kena belanja…
Ok so, I went in…. the exhibits were in air-conditioned tents…. Walked around… (I surfed the net the day before so I knew there were free rides & I wanted to register for them ASAP!)…. Ok so after that, we went down to the docks to check out the catamarans & the yacths & the ships… & boy, were they gorgeous!! Hehehe…. They were so Beeeeautifuuuul! I was admiring each one… Each one had it’s own touch to it… Obviously, if u watched frens or have been to one of these events, u’d know what the prices r like… (& in case u don’t they cost a bomb!!) On the way back, I realised I only got to get on one of them…. Haiya… NVm la… Nex yr got another one… Hehehehe…..
After admiring all the lovely boats, especially this one that looked like it was one of the boats in Pirates of the Carribean….(ooo… POTC 2 coming out….) Too bad it was like, too posh for the public…so we couldn’t see the interior….
So we proceeded to the jet ski, coz like I said, I registered to get on it… & it was like a blast!! But I didn’t go out of the bay… only within the area coz that jet ski wasn’t working too well & when I got on it, I actually panicked coz the guy didn’t exactly have a trustworthy face…. But then, ok la.. enjoy the moment.. It’s not everyday that I get a FREE ride on a jet ski.
After that I was supposed to go wakeboarding… but aiya! the thing was, u gotta get ALL wet to actually wakeboard & well, I didn’t think I could do it… All the humiliation….. :s So I chickened out! HEhehe…. *cluck cluck cluck* I got to watch others wakeboard & I can tell it’s not easy so… Propz to those who tried & succeeded… Especially this hot european guy who apparently never wakeboarded before but did it like a pro! Without the shoe-like fittings… Oh, & in case u dunno what Wakeboarding is… it’s like water skiing except u use a board instead of ski’s…..Ok… so back to that european guy… HEhee… no la.. actually this cute lil girl also managed to do it.. It’s darn not easy! But it was fun to watch then & cheer them on….!
Hehehe.. there was free food & drinks from one of the Organisations that plan to open up a recreational club in Sentosa.. They were actually looking for investors but we all c-bok, go & curi makan & minum & air-cond.. Hehehe…..
I stayed by the sea, soaking my feet in the clear aqua green water… Enjoying the potential wakeboarders… It was refreshing & relaxing…. So much fun! Next yr, around the same time, they’re having it again… Anyone interested in going? don’t forget to bring me!!! Hehhee…. Now I’m so tanned…. It looks weird cos I wore a t-shirt & not a swimsuit so my tanning is not even…. Hahaha…. Hopefully nex time I go to Sentosa, I can actually get a cute guy to bring back.. hahaha… coz most of them were taken… Sad…… Hehehe…
Well, got to go now. Got to console my aching muscles… HEhehe… All that walking & the sun… Wow! Really fun… It’s a wonder how some people can LIVE in a boat & travel the world!! I’m up for that adventure one day… with a good & reliable boat! Hehehe…. Ciao!
