The Beatles have one, The Beach Boys have one, Ryan Seacrest has one, even Big Bird has one…
and NOW i know how one gets one…
The Walk of Fame is administered by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. They receive an average of 200 nominations a year for their five categories: film, television, music, stage, and radio.
Twenty nominees are selected based on:
1. Professional achievement
2. Longevity of five years in entertainment field
3. Contributions to the community
The Backstreet Boys easily qualify. Here’s where you come in:
A Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star costs $15,000 to be donated by a sponsor. We would like to make this a GREAT gift from the fans, and that makes us (the fans) the sponsors!! To give back to our Boys, we all need to join forces to raise this goal of $15,000. This site provides a means of donating money to this cause. No donation is too small! With the amount of fans that the Backstreet Boys have all over the world, it wouldn’t take much to honor the Boys with this wonderful tribute!
